About
Allen Lefebvre is a Canadian photographer with a passion for creating nature and landscape images. While he has a particular affinity for the Canadian prairies where he makes his home, his images span the full breadth of the country.
For over 25 years he has been captivated by the immense Canadian landscape, and is continually intrigued by the wide open skies, incredible sunrises and sunsets, and the natural patterns that occur in nature. Throughout his career he has worked in a variety of film and digital formats, and in recent years has been concentrating on medium format panoramic images. The tremendous field of view of these cameras approximates the perspective of the human eye and is well suited to the wide-open prairie landscape.
Allen is largely self-taught as a photographer. Following several early years with a commercial studio, he chose to focus almost exclusively on capturing the natural beauty of the earth.
